Terifrac Pen is a recombinant form of parathyroid hormone used for the treatment of osteoporosis. It is generally used in patients at a high risk of fractures. It is not recommended for use in patients at an increased risk of osteosarcoma. It is also not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
